Where to Eat the Best Asian Food in Las Vegas

If there is one thing I know about Las Vegas, it’s definitely where to get the best dang asian food ever! I can’t go more than a week without a some sort of spicy asian noodle soup. Seriously, I get hangry, I can’t think straight, it’s a problem. Doesn’t matter if it pho, ramen or my personal fav khao soi, I have to have it! I lived in Las Vegas for a while so you can bet your hungry ass I made it to plenty of yummy asian restaurants.

Prior to this summer I thought for sure I was a Las Vegas asian cuisine expert. That was until I stayed a month with my friend Lily, who is more obsessed with noodle soups than I am!  She can’t go one day without her asian food fix! This girl knows the Las Vegas food scene like the back of her hand and she introduced me to so many new delicious spots.

I’ve been to all these places more times than I can count! So from two hungry Thai girls to you, these are the best asian food joints in Sin City!

Thai

Lotus of Siam

MY FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT OF ALL TIME! Why save the best for last we’ll just get right to it. I love this place so much and they just opened a new location off of Flamingo that is so amazing in every way! (RIP original location! Thanks for all the memories I made in that sketchy ass plaza you were in lol)

What makes this Thai restaurant stand out among the rest is their northern Thai food section. On page 21 of the 26 page menu is my all time favorite dish khao soi, a northern Thai coconut curry noodle soup. OMG i’m drooling writing this! Last time I went with my girl Amanda and when she took her first bite of food I shit you not she goes, “I feel like I’m being punched in the mouth by flavor!” I almost spat out my ice tea lol.

This is not a Thai restaurant that you get Pad Thai at, but if you do, it’s pretty fire, I won’t lie. If there is ever a Thai spot to be more adventurous and try new things at, this is it. My other favs here are the garlic prawns, nam prik ong, crispy duck panang and all the curries and soups.

Did I mention I really love this place?!

Lemongrass

Located inside of the Aria Hotel & Casino, Lemongrass is a solid choice if you’re staying on the strip. This restaurant has a little taste of everything from Chinese to Vietnamese to Malaysian cuisine. I like to go with a few friends so we can get a bunch of different appetizers and dishes but no matter what i always get the curry dungeness crab. I’ve never had this dish anywhere else and its just too good to not order every time.

Other than the food being bomb, what I really like about Lemongrass is the hours of operations. 11am-2am EVERYDAY! For a night owl such as myself, thats huge.

Vietnamese

District One

I can not and will not leave Las Vegas without a stop at District One first. They hands down have the tastiest pho broth in Sin City. The pho oxtail is where its at! For $2 you can get the big bone soup which is the oxtail pho with a ginormous bone in it. I personally don’t get the bog bone anymore because it can get pretty messy but if its your first time or you really really love bone marrow then you should definitely get it! It’s a fun dining experience and makes for a really cool pic!

Pho Kim Long

What an awesome name for a restaurant right? A favorite amongst Las Vegas locals, this Vietnamese/Chinese hotspot has the best hours in town…24 hours!

Service is fast, real friendly and you can get a whole lot of foods for not a whole lot of dollars. With it’s location just minutes off the strip, Pho Kim Long is a go to dining spot after a long night of partying. For real, this place is packed after the clubs close! Make sense to me, I mean when I’m drunk and hungry, a hearty, extra spicy, extra sour bowl of pho noodle soup is like heaven on earth!

High End Japanese

Yellowtail

Located in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, Yellowtail is one of my all time favorite restaurants in Las Vegas! I have frequented this restaurant so many times over the past 7 years and have never had a bad experience or meal.

Oh and can we just talk about the views for one second? Make sure to grab a table on the outside veranda for the best views of the Bellagio fountains and LV Blvd. It’s so sexy!

All the food here is so good! Get the big eye tuna pizza, yellowtail jalapeno, rock shrimp, shishito peppers and then just go crazy on the sushi/sashimi. You won’t be disappointed.

Nobu (Caesars)

There’s a reason why all the rappers sing about eating at Nobu. Not only is it trendy, but the food is to die for! I’m obsessed obsessed with the yellowtail with jalapeño and waygu beef here! They are by far the most scrumptious I’ve ever had anywhere.

The absolute best part about this Nobu inside Caesar Hotel and Casino is that if you are staying in the Nobu Hotel, your in room dining menu is Nobu!! How cool is that?! It’s a totally different menu than what you get downstairs in the restaurant. Honestly, I think it might even be better because laying in bed while in a robe chowing down on some bomb ass Nobu room service sounds amazing to me right now! #takemeback! Just imagine having a Nobu style eggs benedict or a classic Japanese breakfast when you wake up. Both options are available as well as all the classics and a bunch of new things. The rock shrimp buns were my favs but if you don’t know what to get or just want to get little bit of everything, splurge on the High Roller Bento Box.

Local Sushi

Sushi Mon

Sushi Mon use to be my go to spot when I lived in Vegas! It was here that I first discovered the $25 all you can eat sushi! Back home in Tampa, we don’t have anything like that, but here in Vegas it’s a super common thing.

The concept is pretty simple; you order as you go so everything is fresh and what you don’t eat you have to pay for. So just don’t over order, but once you see how the huge the menu is, I could totally see how someone might mistakingly do so. Every kind of roll that you could ever imagine in on the AYCE menu. Baked rolls, vegetable rolls, deep fried rolls, special rolls, I could keep going but I think you get the point! They also offer a great selection of nigiri sushi, side dishes and desserts.

Korean BBQ

Hobak

I’ll be really honest, I was never a fan of Korean BBQ before I discovered this place. I just don’t really get the concept of going out, spending money at a restaurant just to end up having to cook your own food. Like, what? Maybe once, for the experience, ok I get it, but after that I’m good. At Hobak, they do all the slicing, dicing, cooking and grilling for you so now I’m a fan ha! No but seriously, the food is really good here. As soon as you sit down here, all the sides come out at once and you order your meats a la carte or a choose a combo and any extra sides you want. Its cooked on a charcoal grill in the center of table by a server who is full of personality, so it ends up being a really fun and lively dining experience.

Chinese

Blossom

It’s been a while since I’ve dined at Blossom but from what I remember, this is the most upscale, high end Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. The prawns here are HUGE and for a Chinese restaurant, the service is excellent!

Dim Sum

Hong Kong Garden

For a more authentic Chinese experience, head to Hong Kong Garden in Chinatown during lunch time for some delicious dim sum. You know a Chinese spot is going to be good when you walk inside and every single person is Asian!

There’s nothing fancy about this restaurant but the food is good and the service is crazy fast with traditional carts serving up a variety of dim sums. I about died last time I went because there was a legit food cart traffic jam in one of the aisles and all the older Chinese ladies were frantically trying to maneuver themselves free.
